PCRA Annual Meeting For Members

Albemarle Plantation Sound Links Restaurant, Hertford, NC Event starts at 6 p.m. Dinner and guest speaker included. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased in person at the Newbold-White House, or by calling the site manager at 426-7567. A silent auction and tickets for the Colonial Dinner raffle will become available. The drawing takes place at the Spring Garden Party on May 17th.

Wine Tasting Event- March Madness

Join us for the Friends of the Vineyard’s wine-tasting and food pairing event. This year’s event will be held at a beautiful Hertford, NC home at 6 p.m. The event is perfectly timed for the ACC March Madness. This sport themed event features wines paired with select sports munchies. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the Newbold-White House or the Chamber of Commerce.

17th Annual Spring Garden Party

A beautiful setting on the Perquimans River frames this traditional spring event that captures the Southern charm of coastal North Carolina. Dinner and mint juleps will be served buffet style to the sounds of a band. Reservations are required. The annual drawing for the Colonial Dinner for ten guests will be held during this event. All proceeds from this event benefit the Newbold-White House, the Periauger, the Vineyard and the Colonial Kitchen Garden.

Twilight Wine Tasting

Join the Perquimans County Restoration Association at an intimate gathering held on Saturday June 21st next to the vineyard on the grounds of the historic Newbold-White House. Meet the 1730 Vineyard group for a comparative tasting of desert wines from around the world. During the evening from 7-9 pm, guest will sample 6 wines followed by desserts, selected by our vineyard group to complement the wines. Meet new friends, increase your wine knowledge, and drink in the view of the beautiful Perquimans River as the sun sets across the historic grounds of the Newbold White House in Hertford, NC. A silent auction will be held. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in advance at the visitors center until June 12.

High School Musical

A Extremely popular Musical based on a book by David Simpatic. Music is adapted and arranged by Bryan Louiselle and the performance is directed by Perquimans County native, Hugh Copeland. This one-time performance begins at 7:00 p.m. in Perquimans County High School Auditorium located on Edenton Road Street in Hertford, NC. General Admission: $17 Adults and $10 children age 12 and under Tickets are on sale now at the Perquimans Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center and The Newbold-White House Visitors Center. Don’t delay. Gather around the Yule Log and enjoy musical performances. Cookies, hot mulled cider, cakes, and much more available. See the Newbold-White House decorated for Christmas in the eighteenth century style and then cap off the evening with the Lord Mayor in a fireside ceremony to bless the New Year, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission is free although donations are welcomed.

Wine Tasting Event- Beaujolais Nouveau Party
